4 /5 Ju: Just popped in for a pint and cheesy chips. Pint was good but with the worlds smallest bowl of cheesy chips. Service was good but the place needs a real good make over as its very run down..

5 /5 Lisa Dunn: This has always been a favourite place of ours to eat Sunday lunch. We come 4/5 time a year. Previously we had always had a great experience. We had a couple of less than great meals and I reviewed based on that. The pub contacted me explaining they had a new chef and asked if wed come back. So we did and Im pleased to say the meal was fantastic. Absolutely gorgeous roast dinners for 6. We tried all the options and found it to be delicious. The meat was cooked very well, turkey especially was moist. The veg were excellent with great use of herbs. Meal was one of best roasts we have had and Im delighted to review again with updated details. Cannot fault them for listening and acting on a previous review. Cant wait to return. The Yorkshire puddings are worth the visit alone! Well done! Recommended for all ages groups and demographics. Do make sure you book as we had a bit of a wait even though we reserved.

5 /5 Justin Bennett: Amazing pub and restaurant. We are visitors to the Isle of Wight and first came on Thursday evening for a meal. We have 2 young children and the kids menu is excellent, and very well priced. The food is very good quality and we enjoyed it so much we came back again tonight. Both times, the staff have been brilliant and made us all feel welcome as well as the kids. Can’t recommend highly enough. Jack and Kelly served us this evening and we want to give them both a shout out! Well done.

3 /5 Kieran Flannagan: Really nice on the inside when first walking in. Cozy and fairly clean over all. But for me that’s where it starts to go a little downhill. Yes, did notice the sign saying food takes 30-45 minutes from ordering to come out but we waited significantly longer. Not a major fan of ordering from an app and then asked to add a tip for good service before getting your order to your table. Seems a little backwards to me. I’d rather tip for good service to a person afterwards. Personal preference really. When the food did come it was a little disappointing. Almost as if it had been left under a heat lamp for some time before it came to the table. However, it is the winter season so maybe that had something to do with it. For a drink and a quick stop in though, perfect!
