Chiara De Liberato We had a lovely dinner last night at this restaurant that we casually found on our way back from Bromley. reviews were mostly nice and I have to agree! Very clean restaurant, with a lovely family welcoming you. We had a coke and a vegetable rice and a crunchy fried beef with sweet and sour sauce. They were both very nice dishes, especially the beef! You can see they are clean and use genuine ingredients and know how to give flavours to their dishes. If I could improve something would be not having a lot of precooked food (it was ready in under 10mins) but I understand it’s most convenient this way. I hope we will come back soon to try more delicious food!

Burrito Cartel Tooting Market -

Natalie Mak We stumbled across this hidden gem in tooting market and were absolutely gutted we haven’t discovered it earlier! The food was very very tasty and one of the best tacos we’ve had in a long time. The owner is really passionate about cooking and you can really tell from the food he creates! Would 100% travel for this amazing food, highly recommend!

Mariusz B I recently visited Mai Thai Restaurant in Southampton with my wife, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavours and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening out. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys great Thai cuisine!

Sam We were served by Tomos who was an absolutely outstanding host. My partner and I have been watching Will & Jack on the Fallow YouTube channel for a while now and as big foodies it was at the top of our places to visit. The atmosphere hits you as soon as you walk in, the staff are super friendly and welcoming and there’s a real buzz about the place. It’s classy but not pretentious, you feel welcomed and at ease straight away. We booked the Chef’s table and my God it didn’t disappoint. You’re at the front and centre of the kitchen and it’s absolutely incredible to see the pace and precision that the kitchen team work to. Tomos introduced himself and talked us through the food and drinks menus whilst offering some great suggestions. He was a genuinely nice guy who was super knowledgeable about the products and dishes, he helped us choose our order and explained how the dishes would arrive, we then sat back and enjoyed the atmosphere of the kitchen, mesmerised by the skill of the chefs in front of us. Shortly after our drinks arrived which was very quickly followed up by the first of our dishes. The stand-outs were easily the Mushroom Parfait which is an absolute flavour bomb, the Cod’s head which was a real experience, the burger which is up there with some of the best in London and also the Chelsea Tart which is just indulgently delicious. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and now have a very special memory of dining here, we will absolutely be back. Thank you Tomos for making it so memorable.

Won Ko When I was planning my trip to London, I was searching for a place with a great fish and chip. I came across this place, and its good rating and review of the dish made me want to go. The iconic cobalt blue tile wall exterior caught my eye from the outside. Several people were sitting outdoors with beers, and I saw strollers with babies. That cued me that this was more of a local restaurant. Intrigued by the outdoor space, I went in and was welcomed by the beautiful interior. It was quiet and empty, but it was also earlier in the day. The cream wall juxtaposed to the sea blue was pleasant and aquatic, giving it the island country vibe. It was met with dimmed lighting, wooden furniture, a fireplace with chopped logs next to it, and other objects that told stories. There was a backyard where people could sit down (see video), but we decided to sit indoors to hide from the blazing sun. It felt like I was in a fairy tale, though I am sure many people in London find this interior a normal part of their lives. We ordered two beers, a London Pilsner that the bartender or owner had recommended, and a cider of some sort (I cannot remember the name), along with a Scotch egg and fish and chips. The beers, though fine, did not particularly stand out. Perhaps I was anticipating something mind blowingly different for my first London experience, leaving me wanting more. The Scotch egg was great; it was nice to try a food that I have never tried before. Meat covering an egg then deep fried? What is not to love about it! The fish and chips was a tad disappointing. It lacked flavor, which was probably why they gave three sauces, and tasted a bit earthy or muddy. I think I was expecting a well seasoned fish situation instead of having to put sauce on it. The chips that came with it, on the other hand, were hot and crispy, which was great. The bathroom was big, but I almost hurt my ankle with a misstep (though I think there was a sign), so I would be careful. With great service and ambiance, I am confident their other dishes would be equally great. I would happily return to try more of their food; it truly felt like a nice place to be, and I will certainly be back.
