Timmy Lea This restaurant is an absolute gem in London! Located near Westfield White City, Id recommend all meat lovers visiting this area to skip the mall eateries and instead take a short stroll to this hidden treasure. It serves the finest Texas-style barbecue Ive encountered in Britain – portions are incredibly generous, prices are very reasonable, and its simply perfect. The short ribs are my absolute top recommendation – incredibly tender and incredibly juicy. The Bird was also a delightful surprise, easily the most succulent roast chicken Ive ever tasted. Ill be returning time and time again, and I hope more people discover and fall in love with this place, because I want it to stay open forever!

Damian Lubanski Place looks very cool from outside, big windows, bright, with wooden elements. Service was a bit cold but I dont mind that much. Very good food, particularly salt beef sandwich with quality bread but it begs for pickles inside. All items tested good, and croissant sandwich was probably the best Ive ever had.

Daniel Goodman A lovely meal in a beautiful setting. Gorgeous hotel. The restaurant specialises in fish from Cornwall. Would recommend the daily specials over the menu. Whole fish to share is the way to go. The large Dover sole for two was particularly impressive. Starters are not strictly necessary, but if you are a desert person, these are not to be missed! Thoroughly enjoyable.

Kelly W Everything was hot and fresh. Siu mai tasted really good and you can tell they’re home made. Prawn siu mai is full of just prawns which is excellent! Great sized portions and really reasonable prices. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Anne Margaret White Stopped in for a pint before seeing the Christmas lights. Loved the holiday specials. Decorations also added a festive flair. Great place to watch sports with all of the huge TVs about. Looked popular with the after work crowd, but we felt comfortable as tourists joining in the merriment.

Giles Moorhouse Or Old Faithful as I call it. Been frequenting this place for literally years as its the only true greasy spoon between Colliers Wood and Wimbledon. Great portion sizes, good value and theres a secret garden so you can dine al fresco should the weather permit. In an area full of pretentious eateries touting smashed avocado on sourdough bread, check out Cafe SW19 for a much needed dose of breakfast how it used to be.
