5 /5 William Lock: This was our second visit to The Punchbowl after a very positive experience previously and we are delighted to say that our expectations were met once again. As a family with young children, the staff and owners could not have been more accommodating for us despite the inherent chaos that comes with it. All of our food was excellent and freshly prepared with adults and children all thoroughly enjoying it and the service was exceptional throughout. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future.

5 /5 Peter Davenport: Such a busy restaurant and bar, but, such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Food was excellent I had the faggots with black pudding bon bons, they were to die for. My wife had steak & Stilton burger, whilst my daughter had Vineys Cow Pie, they must have enjoyed it as both left clean, empty plates.

5 /5 Mike Walde: We stopped by for a meal at the Punch Bowl last year and really enjoyed it, so this year we decided to book a room for a couple of nights this year, this time bringing our two dogs. The greeting was warm and friendly, the room lovely and the dogs have never felt so pampered. The team even remembered us from last year! Ella was a sweetheart and looked after us so well; shed be a real asset anywhere. Food was excellent again too. If you enjoy good food and a real family run feel like we do, youll love it here.

2 /5 A O Riain: We selected this venue based on its positive reviews on Tripadvisor, but our experience suggests those reviews may not be legitimate. Our visit was entirely unsatisfactory. The food and drinks were subpar, and despite the venues small size, the waiting time for our order exceeded 40 minutes, which is inexplicable. The service lacked professionalism and courtesy. For instance, staff refused to warm baby food in their microwave. Furthermore, the kitchen appeared unclean from our vantage point. A notable lapse in service occurred after our younger child accidentally spilled a small portion of a green salad. The waitress simply acknowledged the spill, picked it up and departed, failing to offer a replacement—a basic courtesy expected in any dining establishment. We strongly advise against patronizing this establishment. Save your money and dine elsewhere.
