2 /5 Andréia Souza: This restaurant was a real letdown. On TheFork app, it had a rating of 8.6, but my experience was nothing like that. Maybe Ive got sharper taste buds from living in Portugal, where the sushi is fantastic, or maybe the restaurant simply doesnt live up to its ratings.
The staff were polite and knew how to handle the customers, but the food really missed the mark. There was garlic in the sushi, which drowned out the taste of the fish, which, by the way, seemed old and flavourless. The rice was undercooked, overly salty, and had a strong vinegar taste.
We also had issues with our order.
One dish we asked for never made it to the table, yet it showed up on the bill. We had to point this out to the staff. For two people, the total came to £77. Given the food quality, the value for money was dreadful. The place looks nice, and the service is friendly, but the food quality doesn’t justify the price.
I left feeling very disappointed.
