Top Fried Chicken - (Near Lewisham, london)

4 /5 REG: Top Fried Chicken is a solid fried chicken shop in my local area. I would come here for a quick meal when convenient to me. The shop appears clean, staff are friendly and service is good. I got the two piece combo meal this evening which was hot, seemed freshly cooked and tasty. No issues with Top Fried Chicken thus far.

1 /5 A Ng: They forgot I made an order even though I came in and paid for it, made to wait an extra 20+ mins so that’s about a hour in total, ordered a whole peri peri chicken and they gave me 4 breast pieces, this is the second occasion, wouldn’t of been so bad if the chicken wasn’t so dry. I was a regular but I’m afraid I won’t be returning.

3 /5 Pete: An adequate chicken shop, slinging battered chicken in wraps, boxes etc boned and otherwise. Texture of the strips left something to be desired, my companions 3 piece however looked more robust. Chilli sauce was a highlight, I would advocate new customers to lather it on. (mild heat pleasing sweetness)

5 /5 Adnan Sherani: Very good place for a quick quality meal. The stuff who served me was very friendly and helpful. The portions for fries are much better and bigger than similar places. Seating area is kept clean and tidy, and as soon as the customer leaves the stuff straightaway, he cleaned the tables.

2 /5 Clive Buckley: This place isn’t the same anymore and it’s extremely disappointing I’m not sure if it’s the same owner from when it first opened him and his son were polite and the food was on point however I haven’t seen them for a while and the food and service has dropped dramatically this place used to be great when they first opened after “Lions” the chicken shop before this one closed. The chicken used to be crispy, seasoned well and cooked through now the chicken is really oily doesn’t look cooked enough and just soft and soggy if I could be bothered to go back and get a refund I would.
