5 /5 Finnuala Q: This waga experience was incredible; the chefs added flavour and balance to each dish. The staff were informative and quick to serve. Would be nice to be offered chop sticks but otherwise a flawless experience during a busy payday service on Saturday. You can pay via a QR code which is great.

Spoiled by the fact that there were only 6 small prawn pieces in my meal, I assumed this was a one off, but I visited the restaurant twice in one week and realised it’s a consistent theme. My wife had even less prawns than that, and they were halved. Left quite disappointed.

3 /5 Melissa Cull: Ate here last night. The service from both members of staff who served us was fantastic. The food was delicious however I did complain about mine. I ordered the chicken curry. It turned up quickly and tasted lovely but I only had 6 tiny pieces of chicken which I thought was not really acceptable for the amount of money it cost for the dish as it was quite expensive on the menu. The food presentation was excellent etc but it was very expensive for what was essentially a bowl of rice and a few bits of veg with a sauce. I mentioned it to the staff who immediately sorted it out for me. I would definitely say that the rice bowls appeared to be much better value than the curry!

4 /5 Chris Chris: Its always a pleasure eating here. I always find the staff here to be welcoming, happy, and friendly, despite being under obvious pressure as its exceptionally busy at times. My partner had a slight issue with her meal which is atypical for Wagamamas but this was dealt with really efficiently and beyond expectation. We eat here quite regularly and consider that this is the best overall restaurant in Gunwharf. Thank you.
