5 /5 Hamid Mahmood: I came to Wazir Restaurant for the Qawwali session that took place. I came with family to facilitate for them a cultural heritage experience. The qawwali was excellent, floor seating for all and most importantly the restaurant has its own carpark in the back, on Mansfield road. You can drive around and park up.

5 /5 The Croydon Explorer: Visited Wazir recently and was impressed by their food. Their food is a mix of Persian and Turkish contrary to some of the other reviews on here. We opted for the special mixed grill and another one of the mixed grill options and they food came out on time and hot and fresh. Their fresh bread and chilli sauce was amazing, and they offer fresh Turkish tea at the end of the meal. The interior is basic but practical, delivering on what a restaurant is intended to provided. Great atmosphere with lots of customers and the staff were friendly and attentive. There is a shisha area in the back of the establishment and free car parkinf for customers. Just take note, there is a special service charge of 10% added to the bill but it is highlighted befode you sit down so no surprises.

5 /5 Nafisa Majeed: The food in wazir is absolutely delicious, the staff is very welcoming and hospitality. Excellent service and very clean. The breakfast was very fresh, good quality and scrumptious. In particular, Ali Jon makes as amazing pizza, his service is very professional and hospitable. You should taste the lamb shish platter, best Turkish restaurant ever. Definitely recommend this place to everyone who wants an excellent Turkish experience.

1 /5 Imran Khan: I’ve been a Wazir customer for coming up to 10yrs. Once upon a time it was a monthly order, sometimes more than that - the food was good quality and the service too. Over the last few years it’s has declined and we’ve ordered only out of convenience (quick pick-up and ample parking). Today it has deteriorated to a level that is baffling. Let’s begin with ‘gourmet’ burger at £13. It was a tasteless chunk of meat in a wet bun. Across the road at monster burger you can barely get a seat - their burgers are cheaper and far superior. Now on to the Turkish food. If I wasn’t breaking my fast, there is no way I would have finished my meal. It was that bad. High in salt (to cover the poor quality meat) fatty, and tasteless in general. Watery chicken Tawa, greasy chicken shish (soaking wet bread from the salad). Most of our order went in the bin. Never again.
