3 /5 Sarah T: I booked a table for 11 (7 adults and 4 children). 9.30pm the night before, I received a phone call stating we needed a pre-order, that they dont normally take bookings for 11 without a deposit or pre-order. I asked where to send the pre-order and they asked for me to call back within the hour. I said it was a bit late for me to do that, so they agreed I could do it in the morning. I did find an email address and did manage to email it over later that same night. I called at 12pm to confirm they had my email, I was then told some of the choices were festive options, so needed to be changed. (The website didnt show these as festive only options)
When we arrived they only had one of the cheesecakes, so someone had to change their dessert. Which was frustrating after making us do a pre-order. The lady said it was for the mains they needed the pre-order. I dont really think that is an acceptable answer. The same lady then insisted we collect all the plates up for her, then she nearly hit my mum in the face with the plates when picking them up. At this point I wondered how much of her job we were doing !
The positives were we had a nice area and the food was nice, but I really didnt think the staff were all that switched on.
