5 /5 Khost Milad (Dr): Blacklock Shoreditch was an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The steak was truly outstanding in both flavour and quality – perfectly cooked, rich, juicy, and clearly prepared with real skill and care. Every bite felt deliberate and confident, exactly what you hope for from a restaurant known for meat. The sides were equally impressive and far from secondary; each one was full of flavour and thoughtfully prepared, complementing the main dish beautifully. We visited on a Friday night, and although the restaurant was very busy, everything felt calm and well organised. There was no sense of chaos or rushed service, which says a lot about how well the place is run. The staff were attentive, friendly and efficient throughout. We went for the “All In” option, which was an excellent choice. It included a starter and two sides, and for two people the total came to £63 including the service charge. For the quality, atmosphere and overall experience, it felt extremely good value. A restaurant that genuinely lives up to its reputation.

5 /5 Zac Holdsworth: Blacklock Shoreditch has quickly become one of my favourite restaurants in London, and for good reason. Tucked away on Rivington Street in a beautifully converted East End factory, the space has real character — exposed brickwork, original Crittal windows, and a warm, buzzy atmosphere that somehow manages to feel both relaxed and special at the same time. The meat is the star of the show, and it absolutely delivers. The chops are cooked over charcoal with real care and precision — beautifully charred on the outside, perfectly pink within. You can taste the quality of the grass-fed sourcing in every bite. This is serious meat cookery done without fuss or pretension. Service was brilliant throughout — attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely warm. The kind of service that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Five stars, no hesitation. 5 /5 Niccy Lin: Honestly, this restaurants a massive vibe for dinner, atmosphere is like a cosy candlelit saloon, great selection of food, great deals too! The food is delicious, full of flavour, served beautifully. For the £28 per person deal which includes each of the little starter bites, steak/ lamb chops/ pork chops, garlicky buttered focaccia with an incredible gravy base and a side each it was decent value, wish that there had been slightly more steak but honestly, sensational. Their cheesecake dessert is probably one of the best I have ever tried.

5 /5 Ege Can Agirdan: We tried the “All In” option, and the portions were incredibly generous. We were absolutely full by the end. Every cut of meat was delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The white chocolate cheesecake was truly special and a wonderful way to end the meal. I absolutely recommend this place and can’t wait to come back soon!
