5 /5 Tony B: BONA FIDE really is the light on the other side of the street at Temple Fortune. Now they serve alcohol and have an improved outside space which seems to be a bit of a Sun trap and even more warm and welcoming then ever perfect for catching the Sun with a drink in hand. But now there’s even more reason to stop by then for a perfectly made coffee, they’ve recently been granted their alcohol licence! It’s lovely to finally have the option to enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer, something this area has been missing for far too long. I’ve had their breakfast which is excellent by the way, but the other evening I wandered in after spotting someone enjoying a glass of wine with some nibbles and I’m so glad I did.
They now stay open later, offering small tapas-style dishes a brilliant idea as well as larger dishes very tasty, that gives the place a relaxed, continental feel to visit in the evening as well.
Attentive service, reasonable prices, and a welcoming vibe BONA FIDE is definitely one in this area to revisit again.
Can also book for private parties.
Will definitely be back more often.
