Worthing Indian Cafe & Bar -

Just Simplu ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars – Absolutely Outstanding! I had an incredible experience at Worthing Indian Restaurant Café & Bar and I can honestly say it’s one of the best Indian dining spots I’ve been to in a long time. The moment you walk in, you feel welcomed with warm hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. Every dish was full of flavour, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. The spices were perfectly balanced – rich, aromatic, and authentic without being overwhelming. I highly recommend trying the butter chicken, biryani, and garlic naan – next level delicious! You can taste the love and attention that goes into every plate. The service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. They made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. It’s rare to find that combination of top-quality food, excellent service, and great ambiance all in one place. Whether you’re local or just visiting Worthing, this place is a must-try! I’ll definitely be coming back – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jo Francis This was a meet up with a cousin i hadnt seen in a long time, so we were looking for a great vibe with great food. We each chose 5 things off the menu for £25. The portions were good and the presentation was fantastic. The curry goat could have done with a bit more flavour and the oxtail was a bit fatty. The St Lucia Sour was the most delicious cocktail that washed everything down. The service was exceptional and the sweet reggae music was the perfect vibe!

r t Good place for an authentic breakfast fry-up - English breakfast or otherwise. It mostly seemed to be local residents or workers using the cafe, rather than tourists (like myself) which was nice. The prices were reasonable. The fried eggs with runny yolks and the bubble and squeak were particularly nice. Vegetarian options available.

Ferry Boat Inn Tottenham -

Earnest Hutchings Review: Visiting The Ferry Boat Inn, Tottenham I recently stopped by The Ferry Boat Inn in Tottenham, and it turned out to be one of those classic London pub experiences that blends history with a relaxed, modern vibe. Atmosphere: The pub sits right by the River Lea, which gives it a slightly rustic, riverside charm. Inside, it’s spacious and welcoming, with a mix of traditional wooden décor and casual seating. It felt lively but not overwhelming — perfect for a relaxed evening. Food & Drinks: I ordered a pint from their rotating cask ales, which was fresh and well‑kept. The menu is very much pub comfort food: fish & chips, burgers, pies, and sharing platters. My fish & chips were crisp, golden, and satisfying, while friends enjoyed hearty burgers. Prices were reasonable for London, making it good value. Service: Staff were friendly and attentive, even though the pub was busy. Drinks arrived quickly, and food didn’t take long either.
