Chris Barras We dined at Burger & Lobster Threadneedle Street on Friday evening, two adults and two children, and had a genuinely fantastic experience. The food, drinks and atmosphere were all excellent, but what really stood out was the service from our waiter, Yohann. From the moment he came to the table, he engaged brilliantly with our children while remaining completely professional and polished. He struck that rare balance between being attentive without ever being intrusive. When our food was slightly delayed due to a large order, he immediately recognised that it was getting a little late for younger diners and brought out some fries as a thoughtful stopgap. It completely maintained the positive energy at the table. It is increasingly rare to find genuinely great service in restaurants, but Yohann delivered exactly that. Friendly, intuitive, professional and fun in equal measure. Genuinely brilliant! We would absolutely recommend this venue and will definitely be returning.

I’ve been here a few times and ordered take away, and strongly recommend the samosa chaat and the bhel puri - some of the best tasting delights I’ve ever had. Family run and lovely atmosphere. Very reasonably priced, went out as a group and all went home bursting full at £25 per head having ordered about 3-4 dishes each My favourite restaurant.

She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely funny, which made the whole atmosphere even more enjoyable. Her service was absolutely outstanding — she was quick, professional, and always had a smile on her face. It’s rare to meet someone who clearly loves what they do and brings so much positive energy to their work. Ganina made our time here with the girls truly special. Because of her, our meal wasn’t just good — it was a memorable experience. Thank you, G, for your fantastic service and for making us feel so comfortable and well taken care of. Robert Walshe Memories of India – Gloucester Road, London There’s something instantly comforting about walking into Memories of India — the aroma of sizzling spices, the hum of conversation, and that warm, familiar welcome that only a true Indian restaurant seems to master. The staff are gracious and attentive without hovering, moving through a full house with effortless charm — clearly, this is a place locals and visitors both know and love. The food? Spot on. The tandoori prawns arrived charred just right — smoky, juicy, and bursting with flavour — while the Aloo Gobi was the kind of simple perfection that reminds you why this dish is such a classic. Every bite felt like it came from a kitchen that still cooks with heart, not haste. A busy, buzzing restaurant that earns its reputation the honest way — through great food, genuine smiles, and a hint of spice that lingers just long enough to make you want to come back.

Johirul islam I recently visited Miami Crispy and I have to say, I was seriously impressed. The Spicy Dip Chicken Burger was absolutely unreal. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and that spicy dip just took it to another level. It had the perfect balance of heat and flavour — bold, rich, and properly satisfying without being overpowering. Every bite had that crunch followed by a proper kick of spice. You can tell it’s made fresh and with care. I also had the hot wings, and they were just as good. Nicely seasoned, cooked perfectly, and packed with flavour. The spice level was spot on — hot enough to enjoy the heat but still full of taste rather than just burning for no reason. Proper quality wings. Overall, the food was fresh, flavourful, and great value for money. If you love proper crispy chicken with a good level of spice, Miami Crispy is definitely worth trying. I’ll 100% be coming back again!

Jacob Shapiro This was a great first visit to freakscene, and we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. We’d really recommend getting a few cocktails whilst there - lots of options, all fantastic. Service was top, food delicious. We’re looking forward to going back soon and hopefully a few more vegan additions to the menu.
