5 /5 Eloise Wardlaw: This was my second visit, and both times have been exceptional. The service is friendly without being overbearing, and impressively efficient. The chefs skill and attention to detail shows in every dish. Each level of flavour is carefully considered and beautifully balanced, with nothing feeling rushed or careless. Consistently high-quality food and a restaurant that clearly takes pride in what it does. I can’t wait to go back next month!

5 /5 Anita Neal: Fabulous set priced lunch yesterday. Lovely new restaurant near the station. Had a great vibe. Lovely front of house staff. Chef David Fuller was at The Wheatsheaf Bough Beech for many years, which has a fantastic reputation. Canvas is his new baby and its excellent. Great priced drinks menu too.

5 /5 LDE London: Unexpected find in TW Kind of looks closed as the seating is on a mezzanine so dont walk past, once inside an intimate eatery. An amazing experience from beginning to end, friendly staff. Food cooked properly - the mushroom veloute was to die for and we are not even fans of mushroom soup !! The cabbage was simply moreish and the side were also good. The only downside was we had no room left for dessert. If we had the chance we would be going right back to eat again!

5 /5 Dylan Holloway: Booked a table at Canvas for my girlfriend’s birthday and honestly… they nailed it. Its a wonderful, intimate space. Jay, our host, was an absolute gem and set the tone from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with a heartfelt birthday wish and a glass of bubbles. The food? Outrageous. The chicken parfait and short rib beef were hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. Rich, comforting, and beautifully cooked. Knowing that all the produce is locally sourced somehow made it taste even better. A genuinely memorable evening with incredible food, warm service, and just the right amount of magic - including a dessert plate decorated with her name and “Happy Birthday” written in chocolate - a lovely touch that didn’t feel forced, just genuinely kind. We’ll absolutely be back ASAP.

5 /5 Adam Bennett: Small but perfectly formed boutique high class restaurant. Small but varied menu, Great presentation, locally sourced ingredients, very well conceived and very tasty. Great to have another fine food restuarnat in Tunbridge Wells. We will definitely be back.
