Jodie C Went for the date night menu to celebrate a birthday. Very good value for money, with a surcharge on the cut of meat we chose. Staff were very friendly and also gave us a complimentary birthday treat. Was quite a busy Thursday evening, so there was a wait between courses which is understandable. Overall a very nice experience.

Came to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and Sushil and Sai went above and beyond and on top of the amazing staff the food was 10/10. Cant recommend enough. To Sushil and Sai your extraordinary customer service didnt go unnoticed nor unappreciated.

Rose Yemelyanova I love this place... they have a great selection of food including Dosas and starters. Havent tried their biryanis yet but so far i am very impressed! Personally i think their masala chai is a bit meh, just tastes like black tea, but other than that i cant fault the service, the atmosphere or the food at all. Really lovely flavours, good price.

H L-J Ive been eating at Afghan Flavours, Reading for circa 18 months now. I was introduced by my sisters friend and have kept coming back on my own, with a my sister or in small groups. Its very reliable, tasty, fresh and hot food. Family friendly. Very reasonably priced for the quality and freshness. You can see the kitchen from the counter too. Other reviews mentioning service speed need to show some patience. Freshly cooked and prepared food takes time and this is an increasingly popular establishment. I would describe as cafe style eating. Whether its the Channa Daal, Houmous, halloumi, chicken byriani, Qabuli chicken/lamb, chicken/lamb charsi karahi, Afghan style red kidney beans, Chaplin kebab paties, chicken or lamb or mixed tikka or lamb kofta - I recommend all. For drinks would recommend mint or green tea (loose tea) or mango lassi (glass or jug) or a fresh juice. I prefer to eat in, but take away is also available. A friendly and hardworking team. Scott Mcwilliam I had such a wonderful experience here, even dining on my own. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly, making me feel very welcome and comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious - full of flavour and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and inviting, which made it such a lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal solo. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this Thai restaurant to anyone.
