Vijay B Sambasivam Veeraswamy is an unforgettable dining experience in London. Located on Regent Street, the restaurant has incredible history, beautiful ambiance, and a very upscale feel, all while staying warm and welcoming. I booked this place with a friend for my birthday dinner, and to my surprise they made it extra special by bringing out a birthday card along with a small cake. Such a thoughtful touch. The food was outstanding. Loved the tikka and beetroot tikka appetizers, and honestly every dish we tried was excellent. The drink selection was great as well and paired perfectly with the meal. Yes, it’s expensive, but absolutely worth it for the food, the experience, and the heritage that comes with it. Nearly 100 years of history is no small thing for a restaurant, and you really feel that legacy when you dine here. A must-visit for anyone looking for refined Indian cuisine with history and character.

Phyllis T First, they accept card but prefer cash. We bought cash to be safe because I wasnt sure from these reviews. Food was delicious! Super fresh (we came for lunch on Sunday, were the only people there so had to wait a while for everything to be made from scratch), punchy flavours, seemed authentic. £90 for 4 people. We got the fried fish with chillies and lime (the centrepiece), pad kra prawn (spicy), panang curry, papaya salad (the spiciest dish there, as it should be) and chicken/prawn salad. We have high spice tolerance and were definitely feeling the heat, it was great.

Pomegranate Bistro - Kingston upon Thames

maxwell powel Cosy and welcoming vibe. The menu is surprisingly extensive, covering everything from a breakfast to authentic pizza & pasta. I love their signature touch -fresh pomegranate seeds on every plate on the table. We tried breakfast with my son and daughter which was superb good portion and my wife tried their home made bolognese pasta. We all absolutely loved everything about here. We also booked for Mothers Day already. Looking forward to come back again.
