Richard Banks Recently discovered this gem of a restaurant. Very friendly and attentive staff. Willing and helpful with offering various options. Happy to adapt any items on menu to vegetarian if wanted. Definitely visit I would recommend booking as is very popular.

Hadlands An example of a great local business! A wide range of options with extremely generous fillings. Along with excellent service. La Baguette is such a treat that our office now has lunch from there every Friday. The prices are slightly higher than the big chains but you definitely get more than your moneys worth. Cant recommend highly enough.

Anthony Ingham This place is a treasure. We tried the chaat samosa, butter paneer + roti, and the puri & chick peas…each dish better than the last. Warmed our tummies, souls, and spirits on a cold & rainy evening. Job well done. Love, love, love!

We’ve been a few times over the last two years, taking advantage of the EARLYBIRD50 offer, which gives you 50% off when you bowl before 11:00 on weekends. I’m not a morning person, but you can select the latest time slot of 10:50 and still benefit, so that meant we were able to bowl for under £20, with 3 adults and 2 children! This discount even works on the family bowling deal, which already gives you a saving of 5%, so it really is amazing value. You must purchase online in advance for these discounts. This particular visit was even better than normal as I won the game (haven’t played that well for ages) and I then enjoyed a couple of games of pool, which, again, I played really well in, winning the first, but losing the second. The other adults and kids in our group also had fun, playing some of the other games in the game area - air hockey is always a favourite. On this visit we had a couple of portions of onion rings and a bowl of fries, with soft drinks. The food is pretty basic but reasonably priced for this type of venue, which is also true of the soft drinks. Staff at the venue are friendly and helpful, it is well laid out and the noise levels are generally good, even in and around the game machines. The toilets, lane areas and tables are also kept well maintained. The venue is upstairs, with lift access and I’ve never known the lift to be out of service, which is reassuring for those who struggle with, or can’t use stairs. It’s also easy to navigate around inside and some lanes are fully accessible. Plenty of parking outside, which is free of charge. We really like it here and will keep coming.

sana ahmed We had the best sushi of our lives—truly exceptional. We love sushi and have tried it in many places, but this restaurant completely exceeded our expectations. We only chose it because it was close to where we were staying, and what a lucky coincidence that turned out to be. The food was absolutely outstanding. Everything tasted incredibly fresh—from the starters to the mains and, of course, the sushi itself. Every dish was delicious and beautifully prepared. The owner is such a lovely person—warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. He even offered us a bubble tea, which was another delightful surprise. It was hands down one of the best bubble teas we’ve ever had. The only downside is that we don’t live in London. If we did, we would be visiting every weekend without hesitation. Honestly, this place is so good that I’d consider a four-hour drive just to eat here again. A true hidden gem—highly recommended.

Chanudhry Hussain Delicious Burgers and Great Vibes! 5G Burger serves some of the best burgers I’ve ever had—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked! The fresh toppings are spot-on, and the crispy fries with house-made sauces are the perfect side. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make it even better. Highly recommend for burger lovers!
