5 /5 Natasha Bell: Amazing Spanish food (and I used to live in Spain)! Good wine and all reasonably priced. The staff were attentive and friendly. Would come back!
5 /5 Sam Bovenizer: OMG its just so good...after 2 weeks in Andlusian Spain (predominantly eating our weight in octopus) we just needed a foodie fix, and boy did HST deliver; great service, amazing food & good choice of wine....& delighted to find Galician Octopus (pictured here with the accompanying potatoes) as their special....and yes it was...very special.
5 /5 linda: Not been here for a long time and wish we had come back sooner.
Very busy and fortunately dropped in ahead of time to reserve a table.
Despite being busy the service was friendly and helpful, food almost came too quickly as would have happily lingered longer.
Whitebean Hummus and the asparagus tortilla were delicious but hard to find fault with any of the dishes we tried.
5 /5 Longbardo: Visited the restaurant this evening for a special birthday. The food and service was second to none. We had a good selection of the dishes. Stand outs where the Haddock Tortilla, Squid, Tiger Prawns and the Lamb cutlets.
I would highly recommend you give this place a visit.
Thank you so much for having us, cant wait to see you again!!
5 /5 Sam Russell: Visited her midweek with my wife and baby and had a great night! They were so accommodating for our baby and got us a table with lots of space for the pram and made us feel very welcoming! Had a range of tapas with the tortilla, chicken and rice and basque cheesecake the highlights! Really great place to go in Whitstable and feels very authentic!
Andrew Wheaton A quiet Monday lunchtime post Xmas, a quiet place but attentive staff, good food and quality drinks.
Would recommend and will definitely be back.
Carly Sked A regular sandwich pickup spot for me and a number of my friends. The fillings are always great and very generous portions. Lovely bread, spreads. Just totally yummy! Never been disappointed. The staff are really friendly too and they now have a really good Loyalty Card where you can get free drinks and crisps, money off etc with each visit. Great little local business which I would recommend to any Whitstable locals, or those visiting the town. A million times tastier than supermarket bought sandwiches and perfect for beach picnics. We will see you again soon for my fave prawn sandwich!
Charlie Jinks Stopped here on a Saturday and made a last minute reservation. The restaurant itself is really nice and right on the beachfront. The decor inside is very fitting and is aesthetically pleasing. We had the scallops and three cheese baked crab gratin for starters and shared the cod with some sides. All the food was delicious, definitely on the upper end of prices but it tasted like good quality. I would go back for sure next time
Ctn Pkt I had the time to go on Saturday. I ordered XXL-size oysters. They were very delicious, fresh, and clean. I ordered takeaway cause I wanna walk around the market but it turned out that after trying one, I ate it all without knowing it. Haha.
The restaurants atmosphere is good, and the surroundings are lively. Most of the people come as family. There is also alcohol and other foods inside.
Paul Forster We had such a great meal here. They’ve been a local Whitstable family run restaurant for over 35 years and it shows. It was quite busy quite early, but the one server handled everything with calm and personality. It never felt rushed or harried. The food was delicious and the atmosphere charming. The one drawback was the phone ringing endlessly as our poor server was there all alone. Would have prefered she shut the ringer off though!
