5 /5 Nathan Boal: Great pub, great food and a nice relaxed atmosphere. I was staying at the Premier Inn next door and called in for dinner and a pint. The Avocado and grain salad was fantastic along with a Cajun chicken skewer, very impressed and very reasonably priced. I’ll be back!

4 /5 Mante: Price of meal does not include drinks. Friday 27th Feb 2026. The gammon meal altho tasty was over cooked but the rest of that meal was ok as a gluten free option plus no eggs(fried) unless you wanted scrambled, gluten free options are very limited, deserts the only choice is ice cream(not guaranteed). Ultimate burger, the burger was also over cooked and the spicy chicken was not even noticeable except in the crunch, the flavours were slightly let down and the beef dripping gravy was delicious but very thin, so as a whole the food was a 4 but only just as 3 was my first choice. If we had come another night it might have been a 5.

We were able to decorate the evening before due to an early service and the buffet food was amazing!! It kept on coming and there was so much to choose from. A special thank you to Ellie, Travis & Sue for great service on the day. Thank you for making a difficult day that bit easier.
