5 /5 Em CY W.: I stopped by Humble Grape near Liverpool Street to kill a couple of hours on a weekday afternoon. The place was open but pretty quiet when I arrived, so I asked if it was okay to use my laptop before settling in. The staff were really nice about it and let me sit in the corner to get some work done.
Things started to pick up around 5 to 5.30pm when the office crowd began to roll in, and that was my cue to wrap up. It is not the most budget friendly spot, I paid £16.09 for a glass of white wine including service, but it was a great glass and it did the job perfectly.
All in all, a lovely calm space to chill for a bit in the afternoon before it turns into a lively post-work wine bar.
