Liam Smith I always use reviews to gauge the metric from somewhere this place ticked all the boxes. Chinese place that does fish and chips? CHECK - THEY NEVER MESS THIS UP. Chinese place with a review from someone who is actually from China that calls it authentic? DOUBLE CHECK. Yep, needless to say, I shut my eyes and placed an order for 50 quids worth of food to try as much as possible with my Mum as I lived in Hong Kong years ago and there arent many places that are doing good Cantonese food (because in the UK we are very used to a specific taste with Chinese food so they all do the same thing regardless where they are from, even though most will say theyre from Peking). Absolutely phenomenal find. Xiexie!

Ash Baigent You can’t beat these £5 pizzas! This is my local and I go here as often as I can. The pizzas are great, there’s not always a huge amount of protein on them but for a fiver you can’t complain. I’ve been getting into the “carbonara” recently which comes with a hash brown on top! Sometimes the dough is still a little soft in areas and when it’s busy there are long queues but worth it for a cheap tasty and filling dinner.

Lucy Harrison I recently had a wonderful stay at the 22 and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The rooms were especially impressive—beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable, making it a truely memorable experience. I also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant, where everything was truly outstanding. From the quality of the food to the attentiveness and warmth of the staff, the experience exceeded all expectations. It’s clear that pride and care go into every detail here. An exceptional hotel with equally exceptional service—I would absolutely return.

Adedayo Erinoso Having worked in chicken cottage years back, I found it fascinating to visit again and I enjoyed my meal. It was something worth commending. It was not a busy store. I was attended to promptly and the staff gave me all the attention. It was a clean store and I enjoyed my meal. However the chicken seems somewhat salty.
