5 /5 Leo McIntosh: Absolutely wonderful place to eat, meet with friends, and enjoy great food. Very warm welcome from the friendly staff, with massive portions of delicious vegan food. It was a shame we had to leave! Will be returning in their future to try more of their options!

5 /5 Albert Jones: One of the best kept secrets in the London jazz world. Great jazz played by world class musicians at an affordable price. Good food and a bar, so you can sit at a table and enjoy a meal and/or a drink while being transported by the music. Oh, and quite a few of the performers stay for a drink and a chat afterwards. Come and join us regulars!

5 /5 Chiara Posocco: Without a doubt the best vegan Sunday roast in town! I had the pleasure to visit yesterday and I will be a regular for sure! Both the but roast and the “chicken” and mushroom pie were so tasty! The portion are huge so go hungry! Not to mention the Cheese platter, it was the best fake blue cheese and Brie I ve ever taste! as a vegan, I really couldn’t ask for more! Looking forward to try their burgers and pizza too! Amazing job guys!!

5 /5 Steve Bright: We had a delicious vegan Sunday roast here, which was delicious, and listened to a great Jazz quartet who playing as part of the london jazz festival. The staff at Karamel are really lovely, chatty and friendly, and the (fully vegan) food is delicious. We had some apple crumble for dessert which was some of the best crumble I’ve ever had. Such a treat to find a restaurant where everything is vegan, rather than just having to have the one vegan thing on the menu. Karamel is slightly tucked away off the beaten track but well worth the trip, delicious food and a very warm welcome.

4 /5 Alexander Sweetman: This is a difficult one to rate. On the one hand, they host amazing events like Ambition Wrestling and Capital Punishment robot fighting, as well as music and gallery events every week. But the events are difficult to find sometimes outside of the restaurant, which is only open thursday-sunday. It feels like a real insulated vegan community in both the good and bad ways for that. Also, dont plan on dinner here without extensively checking ahead. Its not great to head over for a quiet dinner thinking nothing is on then be asked for door entry because there is a jazz performance. Karamel takes events and arts seriously, and it felt like it was at the detriment to the resto at times.
