5 /5 Michael Mallington: We had a truly wonderful dining experience here. The restaurant has a warm and cozy atmosphere, with a charming rustic décor and thoughtful little touches that make you feel at home. The seating area is decorated with patterned fabrics, cushions, and soft lighting, which creates a welcoming and intimate setting.
The food was excellent from start to finish. We began with classic French starters – the escargots baked in herb butter were perfectly prepared, and the asparagus with hollandaise was fresh and delicious. For mains, we had a grilled salmon with lemon and sauce on the side, and a rich chicken and mushroom dish in creamy sauce – both full of flavour and cooked with great care. Everything was beautifully presented on traditional plates that added to the authentic feel.
Desserts were a highlight – the crème brûlée was perfectly caramelised, and the vanilla ice cream was smooth and refreshing.
Service was attentive, friendly, and at just the right pace. The wine complemented the dishes beautifully, and the overall experience was one of relaxed enjoyment.
This is a restaurant that combines charm, atmosphere, and excellent food. Highly recommended – we will definitely be returning.
