2 /5 sf asef: I dont tend to write bad reviews as someone in hospitality myself but stay away from this place. Went here for lunch with my parents. Beyond disappointed after reading the reviews and having some sort of hope.
Starting with the decor and vibe, the only way to describe it is confused. The food: double cooked fries were definitely double, if not triple cooked, and definitely not in a good way. Its almost like they were cooked for a previous guest, then cooked again for me. Famous Humous aims to mix peanuts, curry and pesto together. Ambitious to say the least and made us feel quite sick, with enough oil to make it an invasion target for the US. Hummus came in a bowl which was broken aswell. Superfood bowl had no pomegranate, or pomegranate dressing (was like diluted olive oil instead and waiter proceeded to tell us it was pomegranate (it most certainly was not)). Also the "celery salsa" was chopped celery and chillis, nothing else, and most certainly not a salsa. The kebabs were ok, ordered the lamb steak kebab and chicken shish. Nothing to complain about, nothing to write home about either.
Service wasnt great. Resturant was 3/4 empty, probably shouldve been the first sign, and took over 5 minutes for the host to find us a table. Was finished eating before she checked if things were alright, and proceeded to walk away before we could say anything.
