5 /5 Pete Nov: What was a turning out to be a miserable day, all changed when we stepped foot into Lezziz. We’d had a nightmare on the trains and had to push foot in the rain from Seven Sisters, less said about the suffragette line the better.
Anyway, we opted for 2x chefs special, consisting of lamb shish, chicken shish and Adana served in a large foil tray with any salad and sauce of your choosing. Onion and lettuce with chilli and garlic sauce - what else?
Sadly I didn’t get a photo but it was cooked to restaurant quality. Beautifully charred but juicy on the inside. The Adana was exceptional, superbly seasoned.
Box of chips to share, ample salt on them, no qualms here. Washed down with a coke and a water.
It would be no exaggeration to say it’s probably one of the finest kebabs I’ve had from a kebab shop. These boys do it proper.
