Mark Lovell Booked a table at this lovely bar and restaurant, what a experience. Had a drink in the bar first, great service and lovely atmosphere, then went into the restaurant. We ordered Thai fishcakes and prawn cocktail for starters, really well presented and very tasty, and main course was house burger with fries, and chicken pork pie and side vegetable. Very big portions and very well presented and exceptionally tasty, great service too. 3 drinks ,starters and mains £51 . Great price

Lewis Hully We visited Sovereigns for Lunch as a Couple and my Partner and I were thoroughly impressed. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, plus the food arrived in good time and was PIPING hot. We both ordered from the Monday £9 Grill option but had the 8oz Smothered Steak Sizzler (which was an extra £2) and the Full Monty Mixed Grill which was the same, so altogether it was £22 for both Grill meals which is a bargain!!! We also had 2 for £10 on the Cocktails. The Steak on the Smothered Steak Sizzler was cooked to perfection and was the best cooked Steak my Partner had ever had (she likes her Steak Rare) and my Mixed Grill was super tasty, the Chicken was juicy, and the Steak was cooked perfect for me (I like it Well Done) We will be visiting here again, and you certainly should too! It did not disappoint and hats off to the staff!

Mark Sutton Very helpful and attentive service by Tel. Quiet in my Monday visit, so service was quick and the restaurant was quiet. The food recommend was outstanding, the paneer rice and chips accompanied the main dish well. Ill definitely visit here again when next in Portsmouth. Highly recommended.

Jacob Brilliant little spot with amazing prices and food. The service is friendly and welcoming and makes you feel like youre in a family restaurant. The food is delicious with a great spice and a unique flavour you cant find anywhere else in Portsmouth. I have been here twice now and enjoyed both the key tibs and doro wot and I look forward to trying their wide range of vegetarian dishes too. The juices they stock are also great pairings with the food and are sold at supermarket price. Everyone should try this quaint little restaurant.
