Helen Krychowska We do love a lounge. And this is one of the best! Very clean, lovely, lovely staff. Food was perfectly cooked. Freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. Very family/dog friendly. Staff were so helpful and clearly enjoy working together, which is so nice to see.

Yara Evans Just stopped at this pub after a nice walk in neighbouring Havering Park. Had a drink to accompany some sea food I bought in stand at the back of the pub. Had drink and snack at the back area, andlord was starting a fire for a barbecue. Pub in lovely area. Good service. A few punters about enjoying a drink, more arriving. Really enjoyed it.

Palette Restaurant - Kensington and Chelsea

Wes Parker Delightful. I found this jewel using Google maps after leaving the Victoria and Albert Museum. It was a little confusing at first, as it was inside the Rembrandt Hotel. To add to the confusion, the actual restaurant was closed but the bar was open. I took my chances, and ordered fish and chips from the bar. The person who took my order was extremely friendly and I waited in a very comfortable chair at a small table. When the food came out, it was piping hot and looked marvelous. Looks were not deceiving. It was delicious. Whats more, the chef came out to see if everything was okay about 10 minutes after I was served. I am from the United States and my idea of fish and chips was what they serve at Captain Ds. In many ways, this was very similar. The battery was nice and crunchy and the fries were like steak fries, not potato wedges. The English peas were very tasty as well. I rounded out the meal with sticky toffee pudding.
