Dave Cory I had a wonderful experience at Alhambra restaurant. The lamb tagine was so good! Everything is homemade and their fresh olive bread with butter is so good. The staff was very nice and extremely accommodating. I look forward to going back.

Kervan Saray - Havering

Bee Came here on a whim and I’m really glad that I did. We were warmly greeted at the door by a member of staff and they were attentive and friendly throughout the entire time. The complimentary bread was 10/10 and so were the complimentary sides. The food was good and flavourful and we were served quickly. We were also given a complimentary rice pudding for dessert which was great too! Our only criticism was that the restaurant was really cold which kinda dulled our experience. But overall, we’d definitely return and recommend - I can imagine this place would be great for large groups.
bills reigate restaurant

Bills Reigate Restaurant - Surrey

Rating: 4.7 /5
Tom Raffield As a family, we are always on the lookout for a decent breakfast. Bills has been on our radar for a while but when the kids said they were keen on pancakes, we decided to dive in and give it a go. We booked the night before and headed over in the morning. The place was really busy and had a steady turnover of people whilst we ate. We were seated and told, as it was a busy time, we had an 80 minute table time. This was not an issue as breakfast would never be a long affair for us but might be off putting for some as we were not told in advance. Our order was taken swiftly and everything arrived in good time. Two cooked breakfasts, an adult 3-stack pancakes (for our 7 year old) and a child pancakes (for our 5 year old) were dropped off at our table for us to tuck into. The food was cracking, really tasty and plenty to go around. I would happily return for another breakfast... Or to check out the lunches... Or indeed for an evening meal (child free would be nice!). The cost was more than we were used to but then we have found places where kids eat free. That said, it was still a very decent feed for a very decent price. My only gripe related to service. Whilst the waiting team were attentive and keen, this perhaps went a bit far. At one point, a waitress leant over our children whilst they were still eating to take our plates. For some this might seem attentive but for us, plates should be left until the whole table have finished. We were also asked shortly after whether we were done and yet our children were still clearly eating. Nevertheless, we were impressed with the food and setting and will definitely be back again - next time, with other breakfast lovers too! #familydadventures

the wolseley piccadilly

The Wolseley Piccadilly - Westminster

Rating: 4.4 /5
ahm albed The Wolseley is one of those rare restaurants that feels timeless the moment you walk through the door. Set on Piccadilly, its grand Art Deco interior immediately creates a sense of occasion—high ceilings, gleaming black-and-white floors, and a gentle hum of conversation that makes it feel both elegant and welcoming. The menu leans toward classic European café cuisine, executed with confidence rather than flash. Dishes like the eggs Benedict, steak tartare, and Wiener schnitzel are dependable standouts, while the pastries and desserts—particularly the crêpes and seasonal tarts—are indulgent without being overdone. Ingredients are high quality, portions are generous, and there’s a reassuring consistency to the food that keeps regulars coming back. Service is a highlight. The staff are polished, attentive, and unflustered, striking a balance between formality and warmth that suits the setting perfectly. Whether you’re there for a leisurely breakfast, a business lunch, or a pre-theatre dinner, you’re made to feel looked after without being rushed. The Wolseley isn’t about culinary trends or experimental flair; it’s about refinement, comfort, and tradition done exceptionally well. It’s the kind of place you return to again and again—not because it surprises you, but because it never disappoints.

Dan Poole Fantastic stay here on a Saturday night! My wife and I stayed in a double room with an en-suite bathroom and it was everything we needed! Will stay again when passing through Wallingford. Food was absolutely delicious and a good selection of drinks too!
