Rachel Tsang Came here quite late on a rainy day. Staff were very friendly and patient with our wet jackets, service was great, food fantastic and environment very peaceful. We had a pasta each, they were of high quality. Would definitely revisit in the future!

The Hoxton, Shepherds Bush -

Ashley I had such a great stay at The Hoxton in Shepherd’s Bush. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautiful, and the entire staff were amazing. This was my first solo trip, and I was pretty nervous when I arrived, but one staff member, Leo, greeted me with the warmest smile and instantly made me feel comfortable and at home. His sweet demeanor and attentiveness continued to make me feel welcomed throughout my stay. Such a great hotel for solo female travellers — I would absolutely stay here again. Also, the Wagyu Fried Rice at Chet’s was absolutely incredible!

Nicole Setterfield Lovely little cafe/restaurant. Cosy, classy, flaming and comfortable atmosphere. Friendly service. Very good avocado and poached eggs on toast. Very naughty selection of pastries. A nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the main road.

Mumbai Avenue -

Rating: 4.3 /5
Neil Armstrong Oh wow! What a lovely discovery. We were recommended Mumbai Avenue by some friends and we loved every moment in there. The front of house staff were lovely and explained about each dish as we questioned the intricacies of the menu. The menu, while not huge, was interesting and different. We ordered a number of dishes and found each of them to taste completely individual to the next. Were pretty sure theres no generic sauce/gravy used in this kitchen. Mumbai Avenue also doesnt charge for corkage which is refreshing in itself. As a group of friends we would normally gravitate to Nepalese restaurants but after our favourite Nepalese restaurant closed we have struggled to find a restaurant which seems to cook every dish individually, I think we have found a new restaurant, this time more south Indian, but one that puts beautifully fresh fragrant food on the table. If you wonder whether you should try it I would say yes and hopefully you will have discovered the gem that we have. Thank you Mumbai Avenue we will be back!
