5 /5 Clara: i mean what can i say? the nelson is a lovely pub with lovely staff and food. came at 3pm for a sunday roast with my partner. greeted by chris who led us to a gorgeous table and very promptly had drinks orders taken. we shared a bottle of rioja and it was lovely. had three courses each,! for starters we got the cauliflower fritters and the popcorn shrimp, both amazing choices and so crispy. i opted for the lamb roast dinner which was absolutely gorgeous and my boyfriend had the pork. the portion size was amazing and a side of cauliflower cheese was delicious! i had the sticky toffee pudding for desert and what a good choice that was! service was amazing; chris and harriett were stars, making sure we had everything we needed and were perfectly okay with everything. both a real asset to the team and made our experience a10/10 ! big shout out to carl the chef!! what a beautiful meal he puts together

The essence of the fireplace, either you love it or hate it, but it adds to the ambiance of the establishment and the authenticity of the place. I also got to chat with a few locals. It is a lovely place.

5 /5 Christine Dawson: Popped in for a drink on Christmas Eve afternoon with family. Not expecting to be able to get in, as we knew it would be busy Luckily we did! Its a great traditional English Pub with atmosphere to boot. We didnt eat as it was fully booked, but the food looked delicious. The staff were quick to serve in all areas and were very pleasant. The pub is steeped in history along with Farnham town. Nelson Arms is a nice pub to visit, steeped in History, along with Farnham town, two great places to visit .
