Dalston is not where youd expect to go for exquisite middle eastern Mediterranean food but you will not be disappointed you made the trip. Try the dip combo to start with a fantastic selection of spreads and veggies with delicious hot bread. Youll want to order extra bread. The plates are good to share and they are delicious. The sardine flatbread was exceptional. Fish was perfection. Menu is pescatarean heavy but theres some meat on the menu. I would gladly return here.

5 /5 Rafał Winiarski: Oren is a truly lovely place. Came there to celebrate our anniversary…. warm, welcoming, and calm, with a quiet atmosphere. It’s a perfect example of how a restaurant can gain popularity and even Michelin recognition while still staying grounded. The prices remain very reasonable, portions are generous (mix starter on the picture, highly recommended), and the quality of the food is consistently high. Everything feels thoughtfully balanced: price, taste, quality, and the space itself. A rare kind of restaurant that proves great food doesn’t have to come with pretension or inflated prices.

5 /5 Alexey Subach: Quite a good experience across the board. The space is decorated simply but there it at least some minimal spacing between the tables. The staff were nice. The menu was quite simple without any outstanding options yet everything was tasty: the flatbread with small plates, Jerusalem mix grill, pork chop were all good. Maybe I would recommend accompanying the pork chop with some potatoes as the side. The portion sizes were reasonable. I can definitely recommend this place as nice a small plates option

5 /5 Susana R: This is my favorite restaurant in Hackney. Ive been here many times, and it never disappoints. Its a great spot whether Im celebrating a birthday with friends or having a meal with my partner. The food is always amazing, with creative dishes that really stand out. The Jerusalem pitta is a definite must-have! In the summer, dont miss the fantastic gazpacho and the cherry salad. Their mezze and bread are always a good choice, and the wine selection is excellent. The the ambience is so cozy and always impecable. The staff are lovely and very accommodating, dont miss it!
