5 /5 Molly Gao: Hidden treasure in West Sussex! Stayed in hotel for two nights and got to try two dinners with full of surprises! They’ve changed menu on daily basis and tried partridge and Beef, both done well. Langoustine soup is my fav, deserved a full star from me! Btw it’s also pet friendly, I got a quiet lounge to dine in, staff very nice, highly recommended!

4 /5 John Tanzer: The reception staff are hopeless, indifferent to requests and generally unhelpful. That is based on more than one visit. Conversely, our waitress was delightful, the food superb and the restaurant atmospheric. The wine carried the usual ludicrous English mark up but what we chose was good.

5 /5 Jen Tipper: Incredible quality food and presentation! Always a good sign of good food to come when the home made bread and butter are amazing. Service was pleasant.

2 /5 Mike Piatek: The buildings are nice, room prices very expensive. Had Sunday lunch with friends - party of 6. Certainly lying place to visit and service was good. I had rabbit terrine - overpa ked with meat and lacked herbs. Venison sausages were fine bot meat could be better if ground.more coarsely even better hand cut (would expect it for the price). Atmosphere was ruined by a table next us where a whole party sat at the dining table in terry towelling gowns. Most of us felt uncomfortable. Over all I do not think I would return there or recommend it.
