5 /5 Dania Kerim: Came for my mum’s birthday and everything was spectacular. The food, the service, the atmosphere. Staff were very attentive and made my mum’s day special. Will definitely be coming back :)

4 /5 Cleo Amelia: Dined here for Mother’s Day. The service was great, very attentive staff. The building has been lovingly decorated and if you’re lucky enough to be seated by a window, you’ll get some great peaceful views of the river. Overall food was good. We were eating from a set menu, so had the choice of 3/4 dishes for each course. To note, as a vegetarian/vegan, your options are more limited. With there only actually being one vegan friendly item on the menu. I believe the pastry on the wellington being undercooked (it had no crisp/flakiness to it), and wasn’t a massive fan of the truffle cashew cream (personal preference). The other diners enjoyed their main dishes - the Brixham fish, Welsh lamb rump and the organic beef. Would definitely return to sample their à la carte menu.

5 /5 Teya Knightingale: My mom and I had such a fantastic experience at Riverhouse, the restaurant and property are absolutely beautiful and everything is designed with such care. The menu is incredible, all made with fresh healthy ingredients. We are both vegan and we loved the food so much! 10/10 for taste and presentation. All of the staff were so kind and welcoming and our waiter Faheem was the best! I highly recommend you come here when you are in Richmond Hill.

3 /5 Bonsai Ninja: We went to this place for a birthday occasion. As it was a weekday, the place was relatively empty so it was a relaxed atmosphere. I’ll start with the food - the food from the starters to the mains were excellent and easily 5 stars. Highlights were the vegan mushroom cashew cream and delicious and Smokey pancetta bacon on the generous bed of salad - super flavourful, unique and perfect starters. The mains were also cooked well and loved the generous green side. The desserts were less impressive - maybe 3.5 stars. We had a strawberry cheese cake and the orange cake and they were both very dense and heavy and felt a little out of tune with the starters and mains. The service here was slightly questionable. I made two duplicate bookings, I emailed to ask to make sure that I didn’t have any issue with the booking but I never received a response. I also added a note re birthday - next table received a birthday plate but we didn’t and I felt a little awkward in the moment. The service felt quite cold throughout and the waiting staff disappeared completely after the desserts and was hard to get attention. The place had two sections for restaurant and we were seated into the back room but given the quietness we would have liked to have an option to seat in a different section of the restaurant as well. Overall it was a nice meal but the service lacked personality.

5 /5 Rebecca Agius: A while back we won a dining experience at the Shooting Star Children’s Hospice charity ball. This was an amazing place and the staff were so welcoming during this experience. The food was divine—especially the scallops—and Faheem took such great care. We can’t thank the Riverhouse staff enough for such a phenomenal time
