Avihu Tamir A genuine Italian spot with real Italian management and friendly service. The seafood pasta is always good and perfectly cooked, and the tiramisu is incredible. I’ve been back many times and highly recommend it, though prices have noticeably risen over the past year.

Montgomery Dean Went after work as the photos looked great. I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable on what constitutes a good Chinese meal. This place is Sichuan in cuisine, specialising in hot pot. This looked excellent and the whole joint smelled incredible. We went for individual dishes which were all executed very well. Service and hospitality were great. Very excellently surprised and satisfied.

Christine Frith We had a fabulous team night at The Fox. A super Cocktail Masterclass which was great fun and the cocktails were delicious. The downstairs bar is a perfect venue for a team night. Chloe, Olu and Fenella were fabulous at teaching us how to make a great cocktail and making it a fun event. We then went for dinner upstairs where I had the best pub Christmas dinner. Super tasty. Can highly recommend.

Strong Coffee A fantastic restaurant, has a zero waste kitchen, skilled chefs and staff who are knowledgeable about the food and ingredients. Fresh, tasty food with depth of flavours and gorgeous textures. A new changing menu and a wide range of choice. Support this local gem!

Sean Chiang Marilucia is a pleasant restaurant with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, though my experience was a bit mixed overall. I came here for dinner and tried a few dishes – the pizza and starter were both decent, nicely presented and tasty enough, though not outstanding. The ingredients seemed fresh and the crust was well done. I also ordered the Funghi Cocotte, which had good flavour but turned out to be extremely spicy – much more than I expected for a mushroom dish. If you’re sensitive to spice, it’s worth asking before ordering. One thing I didn’t enjoy as much was the amount of up-selling throughout the meal. While the staff were polite, I felt gently pressured into adding extras that I hadn’t planned on, and the bill ended up about 50% higher than I expected. It would be better if the team gave clearer information about prices or optional add-ons in advance. That said, the service was friendly, the ambience was pleasant, and it’s still a nice place for a casual evening out. With a bit more transparency and balance, Marilucia could easily be a solid five-star spot. For now, I’d give it four stars for good food but room to improve.
