Vijayan Arul “VJ” I ordered a pizza with two specific toppings this morning. When I arrived to collect it, I overheard a conversation between two staff members about the toppings and a possible change. I only understood part of it as it wasn’t in a language I fully speak. When I got home, I realised the toppings were different from what I had ordered. I don’t blame the pizza itself, but I was disappointed with the attitude of one staff member who did not acknowledge the mistake when I raised it. I hope this can be improved for future orders.

Vince Hoskin Had an absolutely perfect lunch here, really beautiful scenery from the patio, could have stayed there for the day! Such an unusual pub, its like stepping back in time, in a good way, wonderfully quirky in a pleasantly natural way. Could not wish for better food and staff, a lovely, friendly old fashioned friendliness that is missed out on in so many other places.

Lelia Prime Lewis… Where to start? You’re a ray of light in these dark days. You serve drinks and diva in equal measure. How wonderful an environment you make this beautiful little pub. Quick service and good drinks, what more could one want? A legend and an icon, I would highly recommend this highly esteemed establishment to any Guildford resident or visitor.
