What Clients Are Saying Spice N Ice Restaurant (GG)
5 /5 Bijal Patel: We went on a weekday, so I’m sure the vibe will be different at the weekend. We were the only ones there for a good 30-40 mins (7.15pm on a Thursday), but a few more people came in afterwards. Don’t let it deter you though - the food was phenomenal & the service was on point. The food is some of the best indo-chinese I’ve had!
2 /5 Stahl Fernandes: What used to be a favourite restaurant in South Croydon is now no longer worth it. Unsure if it is a change in staff or the quality is not checked before coming out of the kitchen. It used to be a go to place for Roomali roti. This time the roti was made of Maida instead of Atta and wasn’t fresh. The manchow soup was also very disappointing. I am going to stop now as I usually don’t review when the food is bad. Unfortunately, never again.
1 /5 Edward Walkington: Im sorry to report that the food here was DISGUSTING. We ordered 4 dishes, all of which taste of decay and nothingness. There are some good places in the area. This isnt one of them. Do not order.
4 /5 Rajab Nisha: The food was tasty. Just one thing about that made us feed bad.
We ordered mango lassi. We tasted and felt the taste was not balanced and asked the waiter to add more mango pulp and adjust.
The jug was taken..he asked if we wanted to return the lassi we poured in the glass too. We said No.
One of the staff too the jug to a room and got back the same jug. ( may be a spoon of pulp was added).
There was nothing different.
We did not say anything.
With such amazing food and taste one small thing like this leaves a bad memory.
I hope they take care.
But overall the food was all great.
4 /5 James Desa: Spice N Ice is a good restaurant serving indo-chinese food. We had a good meal comprising of starters including mixed grilled platter (lamb chops, chicken tikka, shish kebab, fish tikka), tai pai prawns, chow chu calamari, chicken lollipops, garlic chilli mogo. Comparisons can be drawn with the Imperial Restaurant on the Purley Way, both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Motasim Mir I recently visited here and had a fantastic experience, largely due to the outstanding service from Adam. From the moment we arrived, he was welcoming, professional, and incredibly attentive without being overbearing. Adam was very knowledgeable about the extensive selection and gave us an excellent recommendation. He was attentive to our needs and ensured we had a great experience throughout the evening.
Steve L Tasty, good portions and reasonably priced.
Large spring roll was crispy and tightly filled
Beef black bean was flavourful with plenty of chilli
Sweet and sour chicken HK style was delicious
Cloves We had our Christmas dinner here and it was fantastic. All the staff are lovely and friendly and the service was brilliant. There were 10 of us eating and we all throughly enjoyed our meals. A great atmosphere for Christmas. Highly recommend.
Thank you so much.
