5 /5 Hayley Thomson-de Boor: Ive been really impressed with all the food Ive had from here. Im usually pretty unimpressed with food from Chinese restaurants but I really loved the food from here. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Its also possible to order directly online which is always a bonus. (Obv atmosphere rating is not relevant as its a takeaway)

5 /5 Deepti Rao: This is the first time I’m writing a review for Star East Wok even though we’ve been relishing the food for months now. Our first takeaway was Veg Spring Rolls which are so melt-in-your-mouth fresh no matter how many times we have eaten them. So, I thought it’s only fair to start with that as a must-have accompaniment recommendation. Today we tried the Singapore Veg Fried Rice and they were an instant hit. Kelly very kindly made it non-spicy and so we now know that it IS an option, even it’s marked ‘hot’ on the menu. Veg Chowmein is a straightaway hit. I’ve loved their egg fried rice too and my son’s favourite is hot and sour veg. Highly recommend Star East Wok for the authenticity of flavour, taste and freshness. Add to that a very welcoming smile you’re greeted with, a super fast service, generous portions and extremely reasonable prices. Fully wholesome take-away! Afraid, no pictures to share, as by the time we drove home with the food, the aroma in the car had built up quite an appetite. It was polished off before we knew it. Thanks Kelly and Team. 5 /5 Diana Littlejohns: Absolutely outstanding Chinese takeaway. Service was impeccable, collection was perfectly on time and every dish was packed with deep, vibrant flavour. Nothing greasy - just delicious, high-quality cooking. The vegetable spring rolls were gorgeous, the Singapore thin noodles were wonderful, the seaweed melted in the mouth and they even gave us extra crisps! Easily the best Chinese in the area - genuinely better than many big-city spots. We feel lucky to have them nearby.

5 /5 Isabella Doyle: Always fresh and hot food!! Literally my fave takeaway in the whole of Hampshire! The noodles are the best and their salt and pepper prawns are an absolute must! Such a kind energy too

5 /5 Louise Elaron: Absolutely delicious! We’ve eaten at lots of different Chinese restaurants, but this was genuinely incredible — without doubt the most delicious Chinese food we’ve ever had. Everything was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The sweet and sour chicken (Hong Kong style) was outstanding, the barbecue spare ribs were amazing, and the Szechuan king prawns… wow, wow, wow! Highly recommended — we will definitely be back.
