Gabriealla Lee We went there yesterday for their lunchtime deal. Pleasantly surprised by the food we received. It was delicious and finger licking good. Ordered sea bream with boiled pots and veg. Did have a sneaky apple pie and custard which, was not on the lunchtime deal, but it was well worth it. The fish was well seasoned without being salty and to top it all you could have a drink, alcoholic or not. Service was impeccable and friendly. Definitely will be treading through their doors, again!

Shaheen Joomaye From the moment we visited the venue, we knew it was perfect for our daughter’s 18th celebration, communication prior to booking, on the evening and post event was on point. The venue was spotless and toilets kept clean through the evening. I wanted to be a guest at our event rather than host and all the staff ensured that was the case and I’m deeply grateful for this. The food was amazing and the best jerk chicken I’ve had! All guests loved the venue and the staff. I would definitely recommend this venue and would use this space again. Reza Rajabpour This was my first visit to The New Fairlop Oak, and overall it was a good experience. The outdoor seating area is very pleasant and well laid out, and the indoor hall is extremely large, spacious, and clean, which makes it comfortable even when the place is busy. The menu is full and offers a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. I ordered breakfast, and the quality and portion size were excellent for the price, offering great value for money. The ingredients tasted fresh and the food was well presented. The staff were professional and knowledgeable, although they seemed a little impatient at times. However, service was still efficient and everything was handled properly. Overall, it’s a good spot for breakfast or a casual visit, and I would consider coming back again.

Helen M Had high hopes for this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. The friendliest welcome as soon as we arrived… the couple running it are genuinely lovely and charming. I have no idea how they manage to produce food of this calibre so calmly and quickly AND find time to chat to guests. All from a tiny kitchen. Anyway the food was outstanding, dish after dish. Fresh, healthy, delicious, beautifully plated. Plenty of vegetarian options too - our vegetarian son asked if they had a Michelin star. They probably deserve one! Really nice laid-back and cosy atmosphere too. Probably romantic if you’re that way inclined….If we were locals this would be a regular for sure - it’s hard to believe there are better local restaurants. As it is we hope to be back before too long!
