After a long, tiring day at work, we were looking forward to a relaxing evening—and Asil exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was absolutely amazing—elegant, warm, and perfectly suited for a special occasion. The food was outstanding in every way: beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with great care and passion. Every dish we tried was delicious and left us wanting more. What truly made the evening extraordinary, however, was the hospitality of the hosts. Their attention to detail and genuine kindness touched our hearts. They surprised us with special music dedicated to our anniversary, which created such an emotional and joyful moment. To make it even more special, they brought us a beautiful anniversary cake, something we were not expecting at all. That thoughtful gesture made us feel truly celebrated and valued. Al Downes I went this cafe bar before midday for a coffee. Lovely decor. Very friendly staff. A large range of coffee and speciality teas. I ordered a macchiato, wonderful taste and texture. Asked for a tea recommendation. I was brought ‘mountain tea’. This was my first try and I must say. This is now one of the top teas on my list. The service was excellent. I was made to feel very welcome. I will definitely visit again. I should highlight that this is a cafe bar not a cafe.

Andrea Charles I’m a regular customer at firedog Cockfosters for the reasons that the menu is varied and the food is consistently of high quality. The staff (Andrea, Nick and Seren) are always friendly, which creates a lovely ambience. Chrissy the barista is especially welcoming and makes a great coffee! X

Kelly Betts Good selection of foods - not a full menu but does pizza, wings, loaded fries and other nibble bits. Was a really nice atmosphere with everyone enjoying themselves and staff were really friendly. Car park available but must input reg number at the bar to avoid getting a ticket.
