Chima Anya Specifically a review of Slim Chickens. Thought the chicken was decent, the tenders more so than the wings. Definitely a step above the local south London chicken shops. The fries were nice too. Its more affordable if you get things separately instead of the meal deal however this led to things coming out separately. The actual dining area is still a bit depressing but its a cafe in Sainsburys what do you expect, general level of cleanliness was good and I liked the ketchup dispensing unit - efficient! Would go again!

Flat Earth Pizzas - Restaurant Bethnal Green - Tower Hamlets

C Ive avoided going here despite passing by frequently and the 4.8 rating on Google because its vegetarian/vegan but looks like Ive been missing out! The 2 pizzas that we got were fantastic. The burrata pizza was really nice and creamy and the KFM Korean-style oyster mushroom pizza had amazing flavours never before experienced on a pizza! Would definitely come here again in the future when Im in the neighbourhood. Also came around 1900 on a Saturday and just walked in without a reservation.

Jess M Great coffee! Friendly staff. Use estate dairy which is always a plus in my books. Makes their own pumpkin spice blend for pumpkin spice lattes. Recommend !!

Lewis Sadly the Focaccia was sold out, but we did get to try a nice selection of sweet and savoury buns, cakes and cookies. All delicious in their own way, with some great flavour combinations. The queue was about 10-15 minutes long, but worth it.

Felix Rodgers I had the curry goat with rice and peas, as well as mac and cheese, and a beef patty. The curry goat…honestly mind blowing!!!! My first time having it, and I’ll be having it a lot more from here. It tasted home cooked, with meat falling off the bone. Super juicy and succulent. The rice too had so much flavour. The Mac and Cheese was really tasty too. The patty didn’t have a lot beef in it but it was still super tasty, and only £2. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. I’d recommend anyone visiting Brixton to try this place out. I’ll definitely be coming back!
