Ashley Thompson We went to the Tite Inn for Sunday dinner and had a really lovely time. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the pub is set in such a beautiful, peaceful area. The food was great, and my partner and I both really enjoyed our meals. A really nice place to relax and enjoy a cosy Sunday meal — would definitely recommend!

SJ A Our second visit to The Wild Rabbit was a perfect weekend break. Staying in one of the dog friendly cottage’s and dining in the restaurant (without the dogs). Service and welcome was impeccable. The food absolutely delicious. Wine list is very impressive too. It’s fast becoming one of our favourite weekend getaways. Thank you all for having us.

Dany was incredibly attentive, friendly and genuinely welcoming — he made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. James Excellent meal at The Fox. The salmon was genuinely lovely. Fresh, well cooked, and not messed about with. Food arrived promptly, which is always appreciated when you’re actually hungry rather than on a lifestyle retreat. Staff were accommodating and attentive without being intrusive. Everything ran smoothly, which sounds basic but is surprisingly rare these days. Good food, efficient service, and a place that understands you don’t need theatrics to do things properly. Worth a stop.

H L Ordered The Old Shed Breakfast, it comes with two slices of bacon, two sausages, grilled tomato and mushroom, a small cup of beans, two sunny side up fried eggs, a small hash brown, and four slices of toast (you get a choice of brown or white). To top it off, they make a great flat white.

VP We were so lucky to stumble upon The Cinnamon Stick. Located in the small village of Middle Barton where you’d expect nothing around, this restaurant is a total standout. It offers a true taste of Lebanese hospitality and home-style cooking. ​ The quality of food is incredible. Almost everything is made in-house (except for the gelato), and you can really taste the difference. The dishes are authentic, fresh, and truly delicious. It is rare to find such high-quality Mediterranean flavors in this area. ​ The staff is lovely and provides genuine Lebanese hospitality. You can tell the team cares about their guests and the food they serve. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. ​ If you are anywhere near Oxfordshire, this place is worth the detour. Huge thanks to the team for their service and for bringing such amazing flavors to a quiet corner of the country!
