Helen M Had high hopes for this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. The friendliest welcome as soon as we arrived… the couple running it are genuinely lovely and charming. I have no idea how they manage to produce food of this calibre so calmly and quickly AND find time to chat to guests. All from a tiny kitchen. Anyway the food was outstanding, dish after dish. Fresh, healthy, delicious, beautifully plated. Plenty of vegetarian options too - our vegetarian son asked if they had a Michelin star. They probably deserve one! Really nice laid-back and cosy atmosphere too. Probably romantic if you’re that way inclined….If we were locals this would be a regular for sure - it’s hard to believe there are better local restaurants. As it is we hope to be back before too long!

Jason V We enjoyed the meat pies, rich and flavorful jollof rice with chicken, and deliciously seasoned fish. The dishes were bursting with authentic African flavors. The friendly service and warm atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommended for a great meal! And the puff puff were amazing.

Janine Weller Our first visit to this lovely pub. Will definitely not be our last! We both had a superb huge Roast beef dinner with all the trimmings. Followed by yummy deserts. Sat by the cosy fire and enjoyed the perfect ambience in the pub. Very helpful and friendly and welcoming staff. A wonderful way to spend a Sunday !

John Cannon First time tonight in years. Cant fault. Large doner. Loads of properly cooked meat. Layered with beautifully fresh salad, pickles. 10/10. My new go to. After my fave IGrill was taken over and ruined? Istanbul.

Samantha SavedbyGrace Took my family and friends here and we enjoyed a lovely Turkish Indian meal. We had a great time and everything was delicious kept going for more. Shout out to Fahrhad for making our day special. We couldnt have enjoyed it without you. We will be back for more. Even members of the family who usually fussy eaters enjoyed the food. And the mocktail drinks were also delicious. Thank you guys so much We will be back
