4 /5 Nino Fisher: Overall an authentic family run restaurant. Was lovely to try some less westernised versions of chinese cousine. Lovely staff and service too.
We had chicken claws, tripe, morning glory and dimsum set for starters. For the mains we had beef noodles and duck and pork with rice. We finished the meal with custard buns.
Prawn dimsum was amazing, filled with soft prawns in see through soft dough. The chicken claws and tripe had very pleasant texture but needed a punch in flavour. They only tasted of sichuan. Same goes for morning glory, needed some stronger flavours like garlic, greens, maybe sesame oil and seeds on top. The main dishes were flawless. And the custard buns were a very pleasant and not overly sweet end to our meal.
The prices are very affordable.
Will definitely be going back to try so many of the other intriguing items on the menu. :)
