5 /5 Tally Pun: Dishes are flavourful, spicy and yummy. We want to order more. We got there around 1pm, 3 mins wait, but when we leave, its a long line. Restaurant is small.

4 /5 Nathaniel Chew: Honestly as good as it gets for Chinese food in Oxford - we enjoyed the crispy, savoury roast duck and the springy sweet and sour prawns. Rice was done well. Wish the rice bowls included some veg though. Service was warm and efficient though we were there off peak. Worth a visit! Cash only. Edit: tried their mapo tofu and it’s excellent too!

2 /5 Tien-shin Luo: 2025/10 The food was ok, but the overall experience wasn’t great. The environment was not very clean - the floor was oily and slippery, and even the chopsticks felt greasy. Portions were very small, and I was especially surprised that a small portion of rice (smaller than my palm) cost £4 (see my picture). Definitely room for improvement in both cleanliness and value for money.

5 /5 Masita Fardini Akbarina: After finishing the Oxford walking tour last month, our guide recommended TSE NOODLES—and I’m so glad they did! I had a super satisfying lunch here: generous portions, great value, and absolutely delicious food. Even better, I met a fellow Indonesian working there—what a lovely surprise! We asked about halal options, and the staff kindly accommodated us by preparing our meals with vegetable broth. It’s always nice to see that kind of flexibility and hospitality. If youre in Oxford and craving comforting, flavorful noodles, this place is a must-visit. Definitely lived up to the recommendation!

5 /5 Kasia: We stumbled upon the place by accident but it was a happy one as the food and service were great. A lady ushered us in despite the fact that they were closing for their break soon and we didn’t have to wait long for the food to arrive. The inside might be a bit small but it felt very cozy :)
