5 /5 Molly: BEST RESTAURANT EVER! This is my absolute favourite place; the best food, the best staff - particularly maruf, I just love it! If you are ever in Wallingford, you have to go here!!!

1 /5 Elangovan Smn: We had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome. The staff were visibly dismissive and made facial expressions that made us uncomfortable. We were told that “their customers are coming,” which was confusing and insulting, we were customers too. We were dining with children, and instead of being accommodating, the staff appeared irritated by their presence. It genuinely felt as though other guests were being prioritised over us, and the way this was handled made us feel disrespected. The food only made things worse. Several dishes were poorly prepared — undercooked, hard in texture, and had an unpleasant smell. The quality was far below expectation. On top of that, part of our order was taken incorrectly. Overall, the service was unprofessional, the atmosphere unwelcoming, and the food quality unacceptable very hard and stinks a lot even a roadside shop would taste good. We paid like every other customer and expected basic courtesy and decent food. Unfortunately, we received neither.

4 /5 Martin Mills: Lovely little Indian just near the bridge. Good concise menu, covering most tastes, and doesnt try and knock your socks off with spice. Staff are there when you need them, and the venue obviously has good regulars customers support. It is a little squashed, which could be seen as adding to the atmosphere.

2 /5 Simon Thomas: So disappointing. Had a takeaway. Really wanted to try my first Indian in Wallingford. On line ordering and service were great. The food was such a disappointment. The Dahl was so runny it was like water. The food looked good colour-wise, but there was zero taste. It is not as if it was a bad taste, there was no spice flavor at all. Never had an Indian meal like before. Inexplicable!! Such a pity as we were looking for a local Indian restaurant we could use regularly. Maybe the chef doesn’t know that the spice he’s putting in is not real, or has no taste. Who knows?!
