What Clients Are Saying London Bridge Stone Alcoves (GG)
5 /5 J N: Old Alcoves from Old London Bridge (1666). One in Guy’s Hospital, one in Richmond. These ones need to be housed somewhere more suitable I believe.
5 /5 David Simkins: Located next to Cadogan Gate on the east side of Victoria Park are these fascinating stone alcoves. They were once part of the old London Bridge, spanning The Thames, before being moved to their new home.
Great for sheltering from the rain or welcome shade in the heat of summer. Also an interesting backdrop to my photography!
5 /5 Naman Mukesh Chaudhary: One of the fourteen surviving alcoves that were added to the Old London Bridge in 1757 after it was widened and cleared of its rickety overhanging houses. The bridge was eventually demolished in 1831 and the alcove donated to Victoria Park where it now stands.
5 /5 house of odwyer: Great stop for a smoke with Sniffy Booboo
5 /5 jiajian xu: Nice place. Take a rest there while running.
