Tsunami Loved the food here! Especially given that they do chicken thighs…! A rare sight for chicken shops. We took takeaway so can’t comment much on the resto itself. Staff seemed kind and service was good. Interesting stickers in the bathroom. On food: the chicken is excellent. If you are sensitive towards blue cheese avoid the blue cheese flavour as it is really strong. Instead of it being a blue cheese sauce like most other places you actually get chunks of blue cheese!

Nora We had 4 empanadas for a lunch snack today. They were really delicious and warm. I had one spicy chicken and one spinach ricotta. 4 cost 12.95 pounds. Would come here again!

Michael C Came for a quick drink, first visit. Old huge building but smart modern interior. Great choice of drinks at reasonable prices. Service was good. Small beer garden at the front, huge smart beer garden at the back. Good available with a seated dining area.Overall a really nice place and worth a visit especially on summer days.

Ernestine Armitage Local Love & Laid-Back Vibes – Arlo & Moe, 340 Brockley Road, SE4 Tucked into the heart of Brockley, Arlo & Moe HG (short for Hilly Fields’ “Hare & Giraffe” location) is a neighbourhood café that’s earned a loyal following for its friendly service, comforting food, and relaxed atmosphere. The vibe is bright and cheerful, with mismatched furniture, local art, and a lived-in charm that makes it feel like a second living room. It’s the kind of place where kids are welcome, dogs are adored, and regulars are greeted by name. The menu is simple but satisfying, with a focus on breakfast, brunch, and light lunch: French toast, often praised as a standout Poached eggs, sourdough toast, and bacon butties Homemade cakes, banana bread, and pastries Great coffee, plus teas, juices, and hot chocolate
