5 /5 Katarzyna Kacprzyk: We visited Gallio in Canary Wharf on January 3rd to celebrate a massive milestone—our engagement, my fiancé’s birthday, and a late Christmas/New Year treat. Since we arrived at 16:30, the restaurant was pleasantly quiet, which made for a lovely, intimate atmosphere.
The interior design is stunning, and I especially loved the open kitchen featuring that massive, beautiful copper oven. You can tell the team works well together; they seemed relaxed and professional. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table immediately.
We booked through First Table (50% off food). While our server, Dalia, wasn’t initially aware of the deal, she handled it perfectly—she checked with her manager and confirmed everything on the menu was included. Our main waiter was also fantastic, bringing a really positive energy to the table.
As for the food—honestly, wow! The flavors were incredible. The fish literally melted in our mouths, and the sauces were perfectly balanced. We made sure to pass our compliments to the chefs. It was the perfect spot for our celebrations. Highly recommended!
