Iffy I We had our Christmas party at The Talbot for a group of 14 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very start, Richard was incredibly accommodating and made the whole booking process feel easy and stress-free. On the day itself, the staff were absolutely brilliant, so friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which really set the tone for the evening. The venue itself is beautiful with a great vibe, cosy but lively, and perfect for a group celebration. And the food… truly incredible. Every single person in our group loved their meal, which is no small feat with a table of 14! Everyone had an amazing time, and it genuinely felt like a special occasion. Thank you so much to Richard and the whole team for making our Christmas celebration such a memorable one. We’ll definitely be back!

Supersupergirl Goodwhich pan Asian cafe. I remember this opening in 2022 with Japanese Indian fusion bao offerings but just didnt captivate me. Finally paid them a visit because of the 4.95 Nasi Chicken rice. It comes with sesame but I had it without. Overall not bad as it tasted like pulled chicken tikka with rice and Thankfully not too spicy. The rice was a bit too soft for my liking though.

Dai Tree An extraordinary, simple but smart pub and kitchen tucked away down Mitre street in the heart of the city. Great beer with plenty of choice for us "lager louts" and Pride +Olivers available for the "Cask boys". Wonderful service and a jolly disposition from the staff. I love the deep emerald green tiles and wood adorning the place, a real marker for a London pub. A huge "Gin Palace" downstairs, ready for a party. It all looks wonderful. Love the tip to sailing with the nautical flags on the stairs. It all made me smile!

Alison Dennis I purchased lunch here yesterday, 6/3/26, with work colleagues. Id not been to this location before. It was easy to order, food was quick and served by cheerful staff. You can add the toppings and sauce of your choice, which is great. Its expensive, at around £20-24 for a burger, fries and a drink, but portion sizes are extremely generous. I certainly didnt want dinner! The dine in area was clean and there was plenty of seating for a lunchtime. We took our food back to work due to traffic, and the food stayed hot for the 10 minute journey back. The burger was really good and exactly as Id requested. Fries (skin on) were hot and tasty. I would definitely recommend the food here however, as I calorie count, sadly I wont be a regular visitor.

Yousif Erith Kebab is a great place for delicious, freshly made kebabs. The portions are generous, the meat is flavorful, and everything is cooked perfectly. The staff are friendly, and service is quick, making it a reliable spot for a tasty meal any time
