5 /5 koen kostermans: Great Japanese eatery in Brixton village. Quick service, nice options of okonimiyaki and more Japanese street food snacks. Pricing very fair. Had the okonimiyaki squid for lunch, perfect size for 1 person.

4 /5 Greta: I came in on a Saturday, so it was a little busy, but the food was great. While it isnt really cheap, it is London, so thats to be expected. And it was very yummy. I got the okonomiyaki with prawns, octopus, kimchi and sweetcorn, with an egg added. It was filling and delicious, and the texture of the octopus and prawns worked well with the egg, sweetcorn and kimchi. The sauce on top is salty and sweet and tasty, and the creamy Japanese mayo works well with the sauce. The service wasnt amazing, as we had to wait a while for the bill after we had finished our meal, but like I said, Saturday is a busy day, so it isnt a serious issue, and it understandable. I recommend coming here if you like Japanese food, and the atmosphere of Brixton village market, despite its busy-ness, it really nice. :)

4 /5 Marvin Paranjothy: Hungry and decided to check out Okan as the food looked different to other Japanese food I’d tried. I chose the Okan special okonomiyaki and my gf chose the Okan omu mix. Food looked great, and tasted pretty good. It was very saucy though which overpowered some of the flavours. Service was pretty good, although they were in a rush to take the menu back from us every time.

5 /5 Levi Santos: Absolutely authentic Japanese cuisine! We stopped here for lunch and were blown away by the quality of the food. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the miso soup was hands down the best I’ve ever had — rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. On top of that, the service was outstanding: attentive, friendly, and truly flawless. An unforgettable experience and a must-visit for anyone who appreciates real Japanese food.

5 /5 Loie Milne: This is mine and my boyfriend’s favourite restaurant in London. The food is always so delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Sakura who served us today was so friendly and helpful! We definitely recommend this place to any Japanese food lovers :)
